Meet Dr. Burton
Dr. Deborah M. Burton earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware and her medical degree with honors from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Burton interned at Tripler Army Medical, completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Children's Hospital and Health Center in San Diego, California.
Prior to founding Atlanta Kids ENT, PC, Dr. Burton was in private practice in Atlanta for over 5 years, and also served as a Major in the United States Army Medical Corps, where she was Chief of the Pediatric Otolaryngology Serviceat Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. She was also a clinical instructor at the Uniformed Services University Health Science Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Burton is a diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Burton is a fellow of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. Her practice is limited to pediatric otolaryngology, with special interests in ear disease, sinus disease and allergy management.
She is on the staffs of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital, and the Pediatric Outpatient Surgery Center.
